Director's Letter
The Wizard of Oz is truly one of the most wonderful stories. With its tales of witches and trees that talk, a child's imagination is tantalized with vivid and memorable characters. The underlying message of true friendship and never looking further than your own back yard for happiness is one that is certainly understood by young and old alike. This version of Oz is based on the MGM movie which we all have come to know and love. We have done our best to bring the cast of characters to life and recapture the memories we all share of Dorothy and her adventures down the yellow brick road. There is also a musical number included in this production that was cut from the movie. It is sure to be a surprise and a new favorite. So sit back and enjoy The Wizard of Oz.
